Registration for the Fall ROC (Regional Operating Committee)  is now open.  In order to get an accurate head count, please register here: 

The format for the Fall ROC is 1.5 days.  Please plan to arrive on Thursday evening.  Accommodations will be at the Armstrong Hotel in Downtown Fort Collins, Co.   Our host this year is the amazing Rocky Mountain chapter and Allison Fultineer.  If you have any questions please feel to reach out to Allison or Tim Page-Bottorff for further info.

Distracted Driving Reduction Efforts Honored

The Southern Arizona Chapter of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers (SAASSE) awarded their annual Community Safety Award to three local governments for their efforts to reduce the hazards of distracted driving. The Town of Oro Valley, Pima County and the City of Tucson all passed stronger laws in 2017 designed to reduce injuries and fatalities from distracted driving, including the use of cell phones. The award was given during the annual banquet being held at the Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, 414 N. Toole Ave, Tucson, AZ.
